I LOVE my 300GPD. It the best time, convenience and sanity investment I've ever made. It's one of the most exciting "toys" I've ever bought.

I have a 300gpd RO/DI. Best investment EVEV-AH!! But we are going to invest in a 125gpd that makes 2 gallons of usable RO/DI to 1 gallon waste some time this year.

    Labor Day Weekend

The next one is in Iowa? You've got to be kidding me.... really? Over the years I've enjoyed their city selections, but Iowa? Like it or not, I'm sure I'll be there. This year it was moving day so we could go.   IOWA?

Even with optimum output, that's going to make water very slowly... You'll wish you had of gotten something with more output in a couple of month.

    We're on our way!

Ah, it's like one of the Wind Mill/Light House kind of things. I'd just use treated tap, personally, if it were a choice between the two.

What exactly is Walmart water... bottled by them or just dispensed by them? What kind of water is it? Distilled? Drinking? Spring?

    Labor Day Weekend

Working on moving the tanks all day. Up super early and moved until just now 9:15pm.... still more to do. Haven't eaten today and I'm starved but there is no food in the fridge yet and the food place they ordered from didn't have what I wanted.... nor did they have my backup.... so just forget...

    Do you need a tank?

IMO, there's no such thing as fully cured rock.   Most of my tanks don't have any "filters". The sponges in the filters will get inoculated in time.

    Do you need a tank?

Let's say they have to wait three week for the tank. If they bought rock tomorrow and put it in containers, I'd figure you'd be about 2 weeks ahead of the game. One week (ballpark) would be lost waiting for the rock to "get over" being transferred.   If that doesn't answer anything, let me know :-)

    Do you need a tank?

You can greatly reduce your in tank cycle time by starting it in a container.

    What is your "show fish"?

We've been eyeballing a crosshatch pair. Very awesome looking fish. Maybe when we get the inwall tank going :-)

    dwarf lionfish

A dwarf can eat a clownfish, I've seen it happen. Whatever they can fit in their mouths would not make a good tankmate.

I liked the forum before we made ANY changes. The one before the nonfunctional one we just replaced.

Funny... I just found it seconds ago.   I miss the forum that was the one before the one we just replaced.

    lionfish HELP!

I wouldn't worry about it. Mine has gone after many things that wasn't intended to be eaten. He'll spit it out if it's not edible.

    hey mods, answer please

It's probably a setting they don't realize they have in place. I mod on a forum that does this with new members.... and it's to try and prevent spam and trolls. The posts don't get deleted, but are invisible to the public where they wait to be approved.   PM the admin directly or one of the mods...
