The medusa stage of hydroids have many many varied looks. They appear in pretty much in everyone tanks at one point or another... not always seen, however. When you do a google search, it really doesn't come up with any of the pics of the type I'm talking about. Hydroids look like perfect little...

If they are super small.....you may see a few more. They are hydroids. Harmless unless you are raising fry or dwarf seahorses.

Don't be angry with them... pity them. Can you imagine how much their life sucks for that to be entertainment. Think of it as nightly charity from us to someone who has nothing and no one.

    Seahorse Compatibility Chart

There was always plans for that.... but then life got really busy. We hope to someday get that going. What you are looking at is phase one ..... phase two is just taking a long loooooong time :-( The site has some really great ideas for guides, it's the time we're lacking.

Been using tap H20 since Day 1: Click to see our tap water tests; is it safe to use??

There are water conditioners that "neutralize" heavy metals. I would save up some money and buy a unit sometime in the future as is feasible. There is no mad rush, IMO. But get a better conditioner that covers more than just chlorine in the interim. Don't go nuts with the water changes.... that...

With their filtration... I would honestly have no issues using that water conditioned. If it's a new tank, you shouldn't be looking at SPS at this point anyway. If you want to try them in the future, and the tap is not working for you... then I would switch.
