Greg pretty much dislikes fish that tastes like... well.... fish. This is his specialty meal. Even those of you not too keen would like it!

I feed the adults Mon, Wed and Friday. But while he is growing, feed every other so you don't have that 2 day stretch. I give little vitamin packed frozen ghost shrimp on some of the off days when they look empty (and too cute).

Keep an eye on the faint lines between the larger stripes... I suspect they will turn into full fledge lines as he gains size.

I really need to get my pictures together that compare the two. Female:Pectoral fins does not reach the caruncle. 4-6 stripes on pectoral fins. Small head when compared to the male. Temperature (From 85.5 to 73 Degrees)

You could try battling the temps by keeping the lights off during the hottest part of the day. Depending on what you are presently keeping, you don't need a full 12 hours of light.

I'm not sure if there is a question in there. But if you are looking for the temp not to drop so much.... get a heater.

bring back the good old days!!!

The hobby itself has taken a nose dive. It only stands to reason the forums will be slower as are all sales in this sector. Then you couple the small trickle of new hobbyists and the mass exodus of established hobbysists...... there's just not as many people to carry on discussions anymore.

We make it with Ahi as well. The shark has to be fresh and we only buy it from a couple of places. The stuff at the supermarket is plain nasty. Can't eat it very often.... shark is not that good for ya.

It's not like a bee sting. You should be able to add a female at a later date..... should..... We put a female in with our established male and he chased the heck out of her. We are now going to move him to another tank, let her establish herself, and then put him back. It's a risk, so you have...

    Birthday present from my wife

If you just got it, I doubt the lack of light is causing it to recede just it. I would look to other reasons. But it would definitely benefit from more light.
