    sounds to me like you need to clean it really good, then turn on all of your filtration, and do consistent water changes for about 1 week or so. Maybe even add some more snails (about 50 more). What are your lighting schedules?

    you can buy a gallon of distilled water at Walmart for 58 cents. Start doing your water changes and top offs with that. If you yuse that, you wont need the chlorine conditioner anymore

    just rinse it off with regular water and smell the whole rock for any foul smell. If you smell something foul, then something is dead in that area of the rock. Rinse that area until you dont smell something foul. Then put it in a bucket to cure it, or if you have no livestock in your tank...

    I assume by FO, you mean a FOWLR? Right now, it is a FOWLR. Once I can get a Capnella to live in there I can think about adding other corals. Then I will rearrange my rock to accomodate corals

    they say for a reef tank that you should have somewhere between 1.5 to 2 lbs per gallon, so I am within the parameters. I would guess that I have somewhere around 100-110 lbs of live rock

    zure, which is why I have the two 400GPH powerheads and the Emperor 400. This should move a lot of surface area. Consequently, it should provide oxygen back to the water

    I only have 2 Clowns, 2 Yellow Tail Damsels and 1 LAwnmower Blenny. There is plenty of roon in the front, back and top of the tank for them to swim. No to mention all the crevices between the rocks

    I know have 120 lbs in a 55 gallon... and yes, I plan on doing a water change tomorrow night at the very least.... with all of the live rock i have in there i wonder how many actual gallon of water is in my 55 gallon?
