    Invert safe wrasse.. any experience?

If you purchase a wrasse that has a smaller adult size (4 inches), your inverts will probably be safe. Naturally, the larger the fish, the larger the prey and wrasse are carnivors. The Social wrasse is my favorite. Great community fish.

Very nice! Your colors are so healthy, I'm a bit green... Do you supplement calcium? And how is the temp to handle with MH lighting?

    trates

What kind of HOB filter is it? What specific filter media does it use? 20 gallon tanks run along the nano tank border, they are a bit more difficult to keep stable.

what does one give his girl for x-mas

My favorite gifts have been a denim and quilt-work jacket one year, and a purse that looks like a pair of leathers another year. Both of those gifts showed a bit of thought about the girl. I like receiving diamonds too, don't get me wrong, and those that can, should. Keep it fun!

Do your fish act more peppy after a water change?

Anytime I am by the tank for a long period or have reason to "handle" the tank, they behave a bit more zippy. Not erratic, but excited, for sure. Not scared, they don't hide. Certain of my fish actually like to test the new water, as it pours in. Blasted seahorse is the worst offender. I know we...

    Wrasses

One more question...Does your friend move the rockwork around trying to find these wrasse? If so, don't. Many wrasse will bury themselves in the sand and not come out until they feel comfortable. Moving the rocks around could well trap them there.

    COTW--Zoanthus polyps

These guys started out as a $5.00 frag from my favorite LFS. I thought I lost them, they were just two, and not attached to a rock, or anything. They did reappear. I have also a small colony of browns one that hitched in on LR. It was months before I was sure what they were. Attachment 152725

    Wrasses

Wrasse fish also can be jumpers, depending on the species. I thought one of my wrasse was anemone lunch, only to find him when I moved my tank. Truthfully, I'd be a bit surprised if it didn't go the other way around. Wrasse have a taste for crustaceans.. Do any other fish dissappear?
