    The suction part in your sump then the return into your DT, the FX 5 actually does not come with any media, they figure you should put it what you want for your application.

    What size pump do you run on your sump? Does the water look clear in the tank? Would a sock for a few days help to get the bigger stuff out? Just thinking out loud meowzer. I think you have too much in your tank as well.

    Relatively fast growth on this one, check out slice's orange monti it is outstanding, more cupping on the growth, must be a different type.

    I add Seachem Reef Builder to my Top off water, about I teaspoon per 5 gallons. But you have to play around with that this is based on my evaporation rate. They sell this stuff here.
