    I bought 40 pounds of live rock and it is sitting in the bottom of my tank. I bought the LR and had it shipped to me. It took about 5 days to get here. How can I get the corraline algae to start growing? Is there a way to kick start this process?

    As long as I have a cleanup crew and treat my tap water, is tap water ok to use? What are the downfalls of tap even if I have a cleanup crew

    diatoms? buy a cleaner crew (snails, etc)...1 cleaner per gallon will help the algae, but it shouldn't be harmful to the fish
