R U STILL HAPPY WITH AQUAVITRO SALINITY

IDK I am a bit worried right now, I changed the water and the tank is really cloudy, never seen this before. Everything looks fine, fish are a bit freaked out. Corals are looking OK no slime coming off of them. We will see I hope it clears up.

R U STILL HAPPY WITH AQUAVITRO SALINITY

Well I mixed 15 gallons of AV yesterday - 15 gallons of Ro water - one thing that I did different was I let the RO water heat up over night. This morning I added the salt and tonight the water looks cloudy. WTH is going on I never had this happen?

So I want to make an ATS

You can make it like that - I made one like that but i cut the slot in the tee as well so there would not be a dry spot in the middle. If you can feed it from one side I would go that root.

So I want to make an ATS

The trouble with cutting a pipe all the way down the length is that it will close in on the slot. What I do is lower the blade all the way down - set the tube on top then raise it up to cut the slot - this is very tricky so be very careful. You can also build a box around the tube to help hold...

So I want to make an ATS

Verticle scrubber are much more efficient- when you angle the screen it says you have to make the screen much larger based on the gallons of your DT. Vertical is easier to feed in my opinion and you can put lights on both sides. What size is your DT tank?

    Drilling starphire (help please)

You could build an internal overflow box around the hole - what you will need to do is get a bulkhead that will fit in the 3" hole - then on the inside put an elbow turned up - then add a straight piece to the elbow to bring it up to the level you wish to keep your tank at - if it is euro braced...

Just curious. How long must something survive in your tank before you consider yourself successfulin keeping it?

I think when you start to understand why they survived you are successful.

Yes they are tabs for frag shelves, what do you think of the light bulb. I am already seeking medical attention up here, I think there is going to be an intervention.

Ok I know I had this thread going before - but this time it is for real. I am chimping out here a bit but that is just me. I have a two tanks kicking around, total volume between the two 70 gallons - they are 3 feet long by about 12 inches deep and the height are different by 2-1/4 inches. I...
