    my poor clowns

Make sure the fresh water is the same temp and PH as the tank. that would have to be over 82d. QTs dont have to be an actual aquarium

    Problem with Nemo and Dori

I shouldnt start a thread because someone else will later? I personally dont care what you call your fish, if I know what it is I'll help. Just to get you guys off trying to figure out what I'm thinking and restate the issue: Warning: If you refer to your fish as Nemo or Dori, some people will...

UV Filter ... To use or not to use...

If you put it inline just before the return you minimizes harming anything beneficial. As for me personally, QT yes, DT no. I'd rather run ozone through my skimmer. I'm old, do people still do that?

Moorish Idol-small. Eating at LFS for 1 week.Should I get it-?

My advice is leave it in the store so they dont order any more. Every time you buy 1, they have to catch at least 5 more to replace it because that many will die in the process. (actually it's more like 25) He wont just be killing the one he buys, hes causing the death of the others as well...

That would be assuming he has LR and LS. He has not said anything about his filtration or what else is in that tank. We know his PH, SG, and trates, and thats it. I dont give advice until I have all the facts.

Can I Add Anytype of Rock?

Crushed coral isn't actually bad, it's just that a lot better things are now available now. I don't think used CC would really be worth keeping when setting up a tank.

    Problem with Nemo and Dori

You can go round and round about whether or not people are overeacting or silly or whatever, but here are the cold hard facts: Some people will not even read your thread. If just one person doesnt read your thread, and he's the one that knows what to do, you loose, not him. You cant make others...

    Hair Algae !!!!!!!!!!!!

When you get the screens made, lay them in your tank to get the growth started. Algal Turf Scrubbers grow ( turf ) algaes on screens that are in a seperate, but connected, system located outside or below the main aquarium. The basic concept is that the algaes remove nutrients from the water as...
