Im your friendly neighborhood mailman. I guess it pays well. I own a house and i have 2 fairly new cars. No college degree and im making over 20 bucks an hour. Not too bad. Long Island, NY is way to expensive to live though. Oh wait im married and my wife is a RN so i guess that helps too.

What can I get with this....

You probably need stronger lighting that 65w to have corals in a 72 gallon. Youll need at least 200 watts total for soft corals to thrive. For an anemone your going to need metal halide lighting. Although some people have success with high wattage PC lighting, MH is highly recommended. I wish i...

    Low Mg?

Still no help? I just started adding Kent Tech M magnesium supplement. Hopefully that should help raise it some. I have a feeling the low Mg is whats causing my polyps not to open fully anymore.

    Metal Halide Questions

Thanks for the input. When you say acclimate them to the "new" lights, Im assuming i should lower everything and then gradually raise them up. Right my button polyps are high up, my yellow polyps are mid tank, mushrooms are low.

Another issue is heat. 2 150w MH might heat up my tank too much. Right now my tank stays between 78-80. I dont run a chiller so I might be safer to go with the 1 150w and 2 96w actinics.
