its a bristle worm...they are detritus eaters and shouldnt bother things...if you are uncomfortable having him in the tank, then take him out...some have said that they will eat coral but i have never seen any of mine eating anything that wasnt already dead...

its cyanobacteria...i have had some that looked stringy like that...also cyanobacteria can come in several different colors... doesnt look like dinoflagelles to me...

you'll get mixed answers here on this board...with a great T-5 fixture and individual reflectors on each bulb you and achieve great par ratings...me, personally, i like MH fixtures for clams...JMO
