    Shark egg

I skip the ghost shrimp phase. All of my babies went right for the fresh seafood. Sometimes its tough to get them off it. Everyone else is right though, it could take up to a couple of weeks before it eats. Usually the egg sack will just barely be visible underneath them. They feed off this...

    Shark egg

It wasnt really that extravagant. There was an Amiracle wet/dry (I do not recommend them) with 2 Mag Drive 750 returns, a CPR dual overflow (dont recommend overflows either- get a drilled tank, so much easier!!!) and 2 Fluval 404s. I had skimmer running on its own pump with a small UV...

    Some General Questions...

By powerheads you mean return pumps? The powerheads are generally just used for extra water circulation. If you mean return pumps, you want to try and get as close to the max of your overflow box. All overflows will only move a limited amount of water, so try to get returns that will match...

    Shark egg

Those are the only picture I have left. I needed room on the computer for work stuff. I think rays are easier to care for in the long run due to the fact that they dont need as much space as sharks on the average. The do stir up the sand quite a bit, but I looked at it as a good thing. Most...

Lesson learned? The fish store ALWAYS LIES!!! They want you to buy something and go away. The research is up to you alone.

mitzel- The sand bed was at least 2" around the tank. The larger shark in the picture had a problem with the way I would arrange the rock so she would change it EVERY NIGHT for me. Nice of her huh? The sand was displaced when she would pound her tail and move the rocks around with her snout...

Can anyone identify my new little lion????

Yeah, it looks more like a russells or zebra. The pec fins arent long enough for an antennata and there isnt enough stripes for a juvi volitain.

Can anyone identify my new little lion????

It doesnt look like a fuzzy dwarf to me. Maybe its the pics. It looks like its too "neat" to be a fuzzy. Looks more like a juvi Antennata or Russells. Maybe a Volitain too I guess. Really nice looking though.

    Shark egg

It was an old glass tank I have had forever. There were some scratches and stuff in it so I just decided to retire it. It gives me an excuse to set up the bigger one too!
