i forgot to say im probally going to put lr in the drain side under the media bag

im going to build my own sump using a 10g with some baffles and my skimmer, but im not putting in a fuge. all id be using is a charcoal media bag in the drain side is that all i need?

looking for a mag 5 pump for my sump please let me know if you have one

im putting my 125 in a sump how deep do you have it in the water and do you have it on a stand to sit on?

the mod i did was at tyler merrick resource portal i did the last mod with 2 90 deg elbows and the prefilter

i would just put a charcoal bag in the drain side under the pipe right? i dont understand how this filters like my canister?

i think i have the idea its going to keep pushing water until it goes above the water line. do you think the pvc overflow wold work instead of buying one?

what breaks the siphon when the power goes out? also did you see the diy overflow in the forum and do you think it would work?

what happens when the pump stops working will i have problem with overflowing? also how do you suggest that i weazel a 10 gal through my cabneit doors?

i wanting to go small (5gal) so it will fit into my cabniet and il still have some room and i dont know if i can fit a 10 gal inderneath

ok i understan dthank you very much... what do you think a good gph pump for a 45 tall wopuld be with a 10gall sump? also do you think i could get away with buying a 5 gal for a sump?

would that require a pump in the first chamber then 2 baffles and then the skimmer in the last is that right? what happens if you dont put in the baffles?

i take it that you have a drilled tank. how would this work with a tank that not drilled?

also where do you put the charcoal or the media if you dont use a fuge?

does the skimmer pump pull the water into the sump. and do you put a return pump at the end of the sump
