I did it. It is a little tricky at first but I got the hang ouf it and covered my fingers with dried glue(very hard to get off). I am going to look into epoxy though.

I am by far no expert on SPS. But we always need to know the size or your tank. If you say have a 300 gal tank, you obviously wont have enough flow. But from the sounds of it, you dont have a 300 gal tank. Just saying. Also I know calcium and alkinity can play a big part in a reef tank...

i tried that. It atcually ended up falling deeper in than I liked. Can you you epoxy inside the actual tank?

i believe there are some meds that you can put in your tank for ich, but you have to be very careful that they are reef safe. I added some non reef safe med to my tank once and I had all my corals in another tank the next day, they survived. I didnt know any better.
