    How do I kill GSP!?

LOL sorry to hear this. almost every noob become experienced reefer regrets the fact of ever putting GSP into a tank. if it just started creeping recently, you should be able to peel off the mat

Upgrading the lights in my tank for corals.

watts per gallon is an old old rule that doesnt make sense. you could add tons of t8 bulbs and get over 10 watts per gallon and it still wouldnt be enough light to support corals. If I had to guess, the upgrade to power compacts could support softies only. i dont even know if the JEBO upgrade...

what kind of corals are you wanting? still imo you would be better off getting another lighting system.

Upgrading the lights in my tank for corals.

if you can build and fit something like this into your hood, then you wouldnt have to get rid of it. heres what other guys do with the nano cubes and biocubes. they fit the heatsink inside. mind you this will be a costly upgrade but well worth it in the long run. for the size of tank you're...

Upgrading the lights in my tank for corals.

i understand that its a 30$ more light than what you have. but it still doesnt make sense that a good lighting set up would only be 30$ more than what you have. this same thing goes for the nanocubes and other all in one systems. their upgrades are not 30$. thats going from pc to mh. alot of...

    I need help with cycling?

it needs to have an ammonia source somehow. putting in some shrimp would be fine. i personally cycled using dry rock and live sand. there was enough debris left in the dry rock to keep it going.

Upgrading the lights in my tank for corals.

for 30$, I wouldnt do it. you get what you pay for in this hobby and 30$ just doesnt match up to good lights. do you want to keep the hood? if you lose the hood, you've got a much wider range of products.

    St. thomas mushroom

why dont you do a quick google search. every coral you have in mind, you post up a question about it. Whats even worse is that the advice given, you dont heed to. St Thomas mushrooms arent nearly as hardy as regular mushrooms. If you think you can do it, go for it.

    Any opinion on lights

for a 90 gallon, the cheapest option i can think of is 2 units of Evolution LED 150w. They would definately be able to keep an anemone if you're interested in LEDs. the best though is to go DIY, but if thats not your thing the Evolution LED would be good.

heres a bad pic of mine opened up half way in the middle. the red ring, white mouth, alternating skirt, and blue base is what makes it a hornet

My fish and invert list so far... opinions welcome.

that would be too many fishes for a 40 gallon. i hope its just a list of fishes you're considering. no tang would be suitable for a 40g tank. as for the gramma, they get aggressive. would not do nudibranchs unless you can provide their source of food.
