    240 Gal Stocking help

I always worry about clams, but I'm also a full send kinda person and that tank sounds like it would be pretty awesome lol.

    Acclimating saltwater mollies to freshwater?

Mollies are super tolerant of a great diverse range of chemistry and salinity. Living in Fl, I have seen them at inlets to the ocean in both incoming and outgoing tides. They seem to adjust to salinity changes on the fly. I think as long as you acclimate them over a few hours they would probably...

NEED HELP GETTING MY NEW GRIFFIS ANGEL TO EAT

Do you have a QT tank setup? If so, I'd gently move the fish into that system and try feeding some chopped mysis soaked in garlic extreme. It's a great antioxidant and has some reported antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial properties. It's a strong appetite stimulant and I've had that process...

    Help chosing the supplies

The thing I would recomend most would be a small RODI system and stock up on salt. If you're patient and let your system cycle properly, then you will have great success with simple regular water changes. Patience and consistency are your new best friends.

    Deflated Anemone

Lighting and flow changes can cause them to deflate/move. Have you changed anything?

    Puffer may be sick?

I would recomend an aquarium of at least 150 gallons for a dogface. Even if he pulls through, the amount of meaty foods he will be eating will foul your aquarium very quickly. You would need to do daily water changes to keep us, and then the fish would outgrow the tank super fast. May want to...

    Striped Dog Face Puffer

Sorry to hear that. It's really just a waiting game. Do you have a QT tank? I would definitely want to get him somewhere with minimal stress and a bubbler to get the DO up.

    Parameter tracking application.

Not sure I understand. Are you asking what a good system for monitoring would be?

I typically will use a black sheet. You're welcome.

I think you're on the right path.

    Dog faced puffer

You have 2 options. Buy a 150+ gallon aquarium and start cycling yesterday, or return the puffer to your local fish store and try to get some credit towards a pair of clownfish. Even the smallest dogface is going to eat a ton of meaty high protein foods. This will foul the water very rapidly and...

    Lumps on Fairy Wrasse Head

I agree with Beth. The only other thing I'm inclined to think is that there was a head wound, and now there may be a bacterial infection causing swelling.

Help! My anemone is looking very thin!

Light shock can be a definite factor. It is not uncommon for nems to detach and seek a more comfortable area. Have you been feeding it? If so, what type of grub?

    Anemone stressed

I think the anemone just needs some time to adjust to the extra stimulation and will eventually be ok.

    Anemone stressed

First off, it's irresponsible for clownfish to use electronics lol. I'm still trying to translate the rest of this post lol.

Scooterblenny dead after 3 weeks of QT

My guess would be either the clowns or midas. I would recomend doing a black out of your tank for 1 day when adding new additions in the future. The initial excitement of a new addition can trigger some fish into a territorial response. The black out immediately after adding the new fish kinda...

Too Big porkypine puffer, what to do with him

I would say try a fish store. Perhaps you can get some store credit. Also see if there are any local Facebook groups in your area. You may be able to find a home that way.

    BTA not happy

I would reduce white light intensity now and gradually raise back up over the next 3 days. Other than that, leave it alone and let it sort itself out.
