For me, aquariums multiply like bunnies. If I were to plan my tank size around my stocking ambitions, id literally have to move into the dang ocean.

My suggestion would be to go as big as you can handle moving and afford to fill with water lol. 220 with a 50+ gallon sump gives you pretty substantial bioload potential.

When it comes to fish aquariums, bigger is always better. Aside from the obvious spacial issues for the fish, more water volume is going to be easier to maintain chemical stability.
