    You're going to want to keep up with changing the purigen. Once at it's potential capacity you can experience some nutrient bleed back.

    When you do your next water change, Clean your filter media, siphon off what you can. Then clean filter again. Adding a couple turbo snails and blue leg Hermit crabs will help.

    Bullying can occur as sexual dominance is being established. If it persists for an extended period, you might want to remove the larger fish to QT for a few days, then re introduce to the tank. Fish are weird lol

    Sounds reasonable. I think with bioload you'll be at a maximum. No worries though. Just make sure you keep up with chemistry testing and maintenance and you'll have an awesome tank. I actually just finished cycling a 50 breeder myself. Love shallow tanks!

    If the primary growth is on the rocks, could be as easy as removing the rocks, blasting with peroxide, rinsing and doing a water change. Then running some basic phosphate pads in the filter.

    If you're still having algea issues on rocks, perhaps a hydrogen peroxide treatment is a good option.
