    New Tank fish died

Did you acclimate the urchin the same as the fish? Now PLEASE correct me if I am incorrect, but I was told that an urchin cannot touch air. I floated mine, then released him underwater straight out of the bag (the only time I have mixed my water). The drip tube that I have has a a valve with a...

Pls dont flame me... But I go a question about purple lobsters

My husband wanted a lobster so bad, but the more we learned about them the more we realized that it just wouldn't work for the tank stocking that we wanted. Now we are looking into getting a pistol shrimp instead. They look a lot like a little lobster, but are not so destructive.

Can't get my cowfish to eat :(

I got him on wed. I am raising the temp and lowering the salinity. Plus I got a couple skunk shrimp in hopes they will work on eating parasites off of him. I am going to get some garlic for him to soak his food in, but if I can't get him to eat that isn't going to help me much.

I got a cowfish on wed and I have yet to get him to eat! He doesn't seem interested in anything I have offered. I have tried sprinkling flakes, brine shrimp, squid, & octopus. I have even tried putting the food on a feeding stick so it can't float away from him. He swam up to it, but swam away...

Hi! I am new, any advice?

I am not running carbon as of yesterday. I had carbon filters in while i was setting up my biofiltration, which has been about 6 months. I have been slowly adding things, and keeping the stock low. I took the carbon out yesterday and replaced it with more live rock. I also have quite a bit of...

Hi! I am new, any advice?

Hi! I am new to the marine hobby! So far I love it. I tried freshwater for about 4 years with little to no luck. I decided to switch to saltwater about 6 months ago, and haven't regretted it for a second. So I guess I will start with giving a little background. I have a 47 gal tall tank. I have...
