What can we do to up the numbers?

I am the same way. Towards the end, I was starting to notice an over-abundance of selling threads when I hit the "new posts" button. That is not something that I want to see either.

    Coraline on LR

Yes, low calcium and alk will definitely cause the lack of coralline algae growth. My comment about the purple up was not specifically to you, since I realized it was a FOWLR by seeing the lunare and butterfly.

Be careful with purple up if you have a reef tank. It has a tendency to shoot calcium levels through the roof.

    Coral Banded Shrimp

The coral banded and cleaner will be fine together but you will only be able to get one coral banded shrimp unless you can find a mated pair.

New Diamond Gobby making a mess in my tank

I just left it alone. My diamond was in my 210 so the sand storm persisted for about two weeks because there was so much sand.

    Coraline on LR

Coralline all depends on your calcium and alkalinity levels. Do you test those?

Pls help determine if my lights are moderate or low level

I would consider that to be moderate lighting. You should be able to keep a nice amount of corals.

    cloudy water

Sure, why not. With a 9 week old tank, a little cloudiness is normal. Nothing to panic over.

    metal halide question

Ah, 400 watt bulbs would be fine then. I would find out the kelvin of the bulbs. You want at least a 10,000 kelvin. They will probably be much lower, and if that is the case, they will not work for your application.

Hm, definitely sounds like some possible predators in there. Eel could have gone after him for sure, as could the angelfish. Is the fish still eating?

just wanted to share some pics

That definitely appears to be green star polyps. Love the starfish as well. I really like your aquascape but your tank would stand out more if it had a background color.
