To skim or not to skim

imo, you should always skim, why let dissolved organics float around your system to become bad stuff later, just let the skimmer rip it out.

    slimy green acro

like I said if it is an odyssea it is a 150 w, I have seen this debate on other message boards, odyssea screwed up, its a 150W run off of a 150w ballast. I dont have the facts but I have heard them debated and the final outcome was 150 w, even though they say 175 and I have the same light and I...

lets see your sps and clam pics

I dont dose anything. so it is easy to keep good water quality, only phyto to the tank is when it is ocasionally on the glass and the mag float scrapes it into the water column. thats it.

lets see your sps and clam pics

    fishless reefs ? ? ?

do you find that the detritus from the rock gets trapped in the sand? I am afraid of that, thats why i went with a bare bottom. hope to keep a real clean sps tank. and "hope" is what I will do

    fishless reefs ? ? ?
