I have a cpr that is 800 gph that I am getting rid of. It was only used for like 3 days, I decided to ditch the sump idea. if you want I can send you a pic.

its not terrible, just grows really fast and has been known to choke out corals, but I am not sure, so you need to get a few more opinions.

if you are seeing it on the power heads then all over the tank is right around the corner. I would use a scraper and all the crap you scrape off the glass will seed the tank. that stuff is a real pain once you get it, I know it is a good sighn but what a pain in the behind to keep up with.
