Def need to sand or use some sort of primer. If the old stand has any sort of clear coat on it im sure its a polyurathane. A water based paint that you mentioned will not stick well to it. Sand that off first or use an oil based primer then paint on top of that.

Im trying to get a hold of a surface skimmer box for the aqua c remora with the maxi jet 1200. Hopefully this will help with the bubbles if not at least it will hide the pump. Let me know if anyone has one to sell. Thanks

I want to know if a 10gal tank would be a large enough set up for a royal gramma, wrassee, and flame angel? I dont have the tank now and all the sudden noticed the white dots all over the fish..especially the angel. If I get the tank in the morning can I add water from the DT or do I need to...

I cut off a piece of shrimp from the store and set mine on top of it, he loves it. I only do it about once a week but ive never had a problem with him not eating the quarter piece of shrimp.

I got mine for 164 on there too. That guy is great to buy from he ships very fast...California to Florida in just a couple of days! Good luck I love mine.

Just stick a sponge over the bottom? Are there ones made for that or do you just cut one? The stuff the LFS leaves out! Over the one for the skimmer too?
