I am no expert at all. However I just finished hypo w/ a coral beauty that I bought with ich. I found that doing daily water changes it kept the ammonia and such down and I personally had no issues w/ PH. The one time it was a little low I added a small amount of buffer.

Not meaning to highjack thread, but my question goes with this. My refuge is 23.5" tall. I have a 13 watt 6500K light over my refuge. My chaeto is turning like ash. That is the best way I can describe it. If I touch it, it just falls to pieces. It is a grayish color. Do I need more light?

Has anyone heard anything? I haven't heard from this person at all and I posted on 8/31.

Well if they are for freshwater fish, I am not sure you can feed it anyway...IDK though. Get with someone local and do a group order at like the drs or something the split the shipping.

You could always make your own frozen mixture and they you can feed that to them all. Then you will have one food. May I ask why you don't want to feed frozen? IMO frozen is the way to go.

Question - since this tank is obviously cycling again is it going to hurt to do the changes everyday? I have been doing 20 gallon changes everyday and my ammonia is still 8.0 :scream I have done I guess about 3 or 4 already. Would it be better for me to wait a day or so in between or keep...

IMO your PH is fine. Do not buffer unless you check your alk and calcium they all go hand in hand.

I personally like my small tanks better than my 100 gallon. IMO small tanks are easier to keep up with. Just my 2cents. My 100 gallon right now is sitting without fish cause it crashed. I have them in a rubbermaid and it is easier to keep them undercontrol in that. Oh well - I say if you...

I think a damsel may need more room to swim. There is also a nano type blenny that will perch alot you could look into. You need something very tiny that will stay very tiny
