thanks rabbit, i was thinking that i would keep the around .022 so if the tank gets a little low on the weekend it won't spike the salinity. anyone else agree, disagree, suggestions.

i tried a product similiar to joe's juice called "aiptasia stop." It worked on a few of the larger ones but i couldn't seem to get the small ones with it. you know it is amazing how well those peppermints can hide. it takes a couple minutes of hunting for me to find them.

got mine at LFS, i think ***** or pet supermarket may have them as well.

i am going to set up my .5 gallon tank at work, what do you guys keep the salinity at?

i have a brain in my 10 with the 96 watt hood. here is a pic of it. not a good pic, but mine has gotten huge since i put it in there

moon light bulbs are designed to replicate the light fequencies of the moon from what i understood. i could be wrong!?!:confused:

as long as he keeps a very close eye on his tank, keep a regular maintance schedule he should be fine. Most of the guys/gals with ten gallon nano either went with the 96 watt custom sea life, or the cpr lighting with the moon light. the emperior will do fine IMO but he needs to add a power...

i had some blue xenias (very small frag) that just disappeared last night. anyone else ever heard of this? here is a picture of them...

i built a hood for my nano now i am in the painting and sealing phase of it. Is there any recommendations on type of paint and sealant?
