    I would not resort to chemicals. What kind of fish do you have? Every other day is how often I feed, depending on your fish twice a day is way way overkill.

    Good start, what kind of lights do you have? The anemone will not live under the pc lighting that comes with the tank for very long.

    I run my lights about 9 hours on both bulbs. About 11 hours actinics only, then the moonlights and my refugium lights through the night.

    I would hold off on feeding every day, every other day is perfectly fine. That is how often I feed my ocellaris clown and sixline wrasse. Also, flake food is known to have a lot of phosphates, phosphates cause algae. A great and healthier alternative is feeding frozen mysis shrimp, cyclo-peeze...
