    my fish keep disappearing.

That's a relatively small trigger, so uhhh, ya I'm gonna go with the sfe eating him. Or he is the reincarnate of Houdini and he will poof back in your tank alive and well.

baby porcupine isn't eating or moving

There should not be any ammonia or nitrites in a tank at all, there has to be something going on with your tank that you had a mini spike.

What am I missing to start my tank.

To save a little bit of cash you can buy all dry rock and just buy one piece of live rock to seed it

Would these fish get along with each other?

In the order you posted 1 thru 11, numbers 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 could live in a 29 gallon but not all 10 fish I think that would be a lil overstocked.

Whats your favorite fish and why?

Chevron tang is just beautiful. But it has to be my coral catshark that I have right now. Just haven't got around to picking up a chevron, just got to get around saving up the loot for one.

And to add on what jay said they have boat loads of personality. I had a blue and gold midas, man he was cool....until he went floor surfing.

i want to breed my clowns

The sponge filter uses an air line to operate, but if you want to add another it might be too much movement for the newborn fry. With the parents put in a small ceramic flower pot or a piece of wall or floor tile so they can lay their eggs on it.

Bought a Craigslist tank and need advise using previous sand, rock, and equipment.

Dsb's were best if it was mostly oolite

Bought a Craigslist tank and need advise using previous sand, rock, and equipment.

I would get a more course sand so that it won't blow around as much. What are you talking about? Fine oolite is the way to go... Sand storms in the tank is all the rave these days  but ya gotta agree coarser sand is the way to go not crushed coral that stuff is a pita.
