I have literally hundreds and I can not get to all of them. I would never be able to afford all the Aiptasia X it would take to kill them and when I used it before the explosion it did not work any better than the other methods. I still kill the monsters with kalk paste and I never poke them.

Just from personal experience with working with acrylic there is a possibility if cracks that may start from the hole. Gluing a piece over it may work but if the crack runs through from another spot it may not hold. Stress cracks sometimes can not even be felt because the crack originates...

Once you put water in the tank and it applies pressure to those cracks I do not see any way of making it secure. The cracks are just going to keep going and you will have a leak. IMO I would cut that panel off and try again, but you should sand down the joining surface areas because if it is not...

I have an open tank with five indoor cats and there is always cat hair floating on the top, never caused any issues. As for the cat drinking the saltwater, one of mine did that the other day and she actually jumped into the tank when she was a kitten. My tank is fine and so is my little terror...

I did some research on past post and ophiura stated that some can do damage to coral but it is very rare. I guess if the multiply too fast there can be an issue.

I thought there were two different kinds. One was okay while the other cause coral damage. Is that wrong?
