Ok so I have been looking at MrXs Idea of a closed loop for the 120. Now, the way a closed loop does not look like it would filter as much or be better. Can someone please explain to me (As I think this is what I need) How is a closed loop efficient, and why it is better then the typical down...

Hrmmm. After looking at them both I am not sure now. What can I do to find out for sure?

Are there or were there any kids in the house that could have dropped something in the tank/sump? Like a penny or a play car or something like that?
