    SWF.com live rock

Hey there, fellow Arizonan! Azfishgal is expecting an order of LR from swf.com to arrive today (I think). If you check her thread on this board in the next day or so I bet she'll have some pics posted. Or ask her to post some good detailed pics of it before she puts it in the tank...

    Monterey Bay Aquarium

My bf and I are planning a trip to Napa Valley this summer (probably in July) and would like to go to Monterey Bay Aquarium, too. Is the Aquarium a one-day thing, or is there enough to see and do there to take up two days? Also, any recommendations for planning this trip, or things to...

    Rip

My condolences on your loss. It's never easy to find something floating belly-up in your tank. But take comfort in knowing that Jasmine's swimming in a better place now, a place where ammonia, nitrates, and nitrates are never a problem, a place free from the harassment she endured from...

Congrats on the size 29 Biocube! Check out some of the pics and tank diaries on the Nano Tank section of this board. There are some fabulous set-ups shown there. My tank is still in the early stages of development, but here's a link to my thread anyway, just for giggles...

    Azfishgal New Tank Diary!

Making progress and looking good! I'm so excited for you! :jumping: Your lone cured live rock will be fine in there with the new rock. It won't suddenly become uncured or die because you put new LR in there. Keep the pics coming!

Rotate the exhaust outlet so that it is pointing up if the impellar chamber outlet is pointed towards the 2nd chamber. The suction cups will be against the wall that divides the tank and the pump chamber. I don't think all 3 suction cups will be against the wall, but as long as one or two are...

    10 Gallon Reef Tank

Both the plate coral and the brain coral should be placed in the sand. This is exclusively where they are found in their natural environment. From everythng that I have read, they will eventually die if they are left on the rock due to lack of food provided by the sand and from abrasions from...

    29 Biocube--A Work in Process

I was told the candy cane coral would do fine with stock lighting as long as it was placed near the top. They prefer low to moderate flow and moderate lighting according to what I've been told and what I've read.

    29 Biocube--A Work in Process

My snails knocked my candy cane coral off it's rock yesterday. (I didn't want to superglue it until I was sure it was happy where I put it.) So last night when I got home I tried to put it back and wedge it a little more securely between a couple of rocks. When I did that, some of the rocks...
