    Having Ice Cream!!!

OMG! You're right! My bf and I had just finished Breakfast with Shamu. It was great--we had a poolside table and a trainer standing right by us the whole time answering all my silly questions. What a great way to start the day! We've done Sea World the past 2 years for vacation so we...

Absolutely adorable! All 3 of 'em! But they look mighty cold in the first pic! I'm so glad it doesn't get that cold in Phoenix!

FW dip or not? Help please?

I was told that zoos could be dipped in fresh water. I had a small frag that only a few opened up, so I was told my lfs employee (who is very knowledgeable when it comes to reefkeeping) to do a FW dip for about 5 minutes and it would help get rid of pests (such as snail/slug eggs, etc) that...

Never heated up my ice cream, but I am eating frozen Girl Scout cookies. Nothin' like a sleeve of Thin Mints fresh out of the freezer!

    nano fish selection

Gobies are so cute! And they are fun to watch (in my opinion, anyway) If you get a royal gramma, add him last. They can be territorial. Bicolored blennies are also good fish and they're fun to watch. I love fire shrimp because they're such a beautiful shade of red, but the peppermint shrimp...

Why are my yellow polyps turning brown?

I feed the YP mysis shrimp with a turkey baster once or twice a week. The lighting is Biocube 29 stock lighting: 2X36W PC, actinics, and LED moon lights. The shrooms are out of direct flow and the closest thing to them is a Ricordea that sits about 3 or 4 inches away from it.

las vegas aquarium,,look at this puffer...

Did you get a chance to visit Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay? Just wondering if it's worth the $16 admission to see it, or if Sea World's shark display is more impressive?

So tomorrow is the DAY TO GET A NEW TANk then WHAT?

I take a 5 gallon jug to my lfs and they fill it up with pre-mixed saltwater. It lasts me for 2 weeks worth of water changes (I do 10% each week), keeps me from having to mess with making it and storing it myself, and it gives me a good excuse to visit the fish store again!

Why are my yellow polyps turning brown?

Over the past couple of days I've noticed a couple of my polyps turning brown. Any ideas? Also I brought home a new mushroom rock last night. All were open in the store, but now that I have it here, there's one that is keeping one side shut. Is it just slow to acclimate or could there be a...

I have some snails that will leave large piles of rope! Although I've never caught them in the act, I think it's my Astrea snails.

Mushroom in a jbj 24 gal

Stock lighting is fine for mushrooms, zoos, and other corals that don't have high lighting requirements.

So tomorrow is the DAY TO GET A NEW TANk then WHAT?

Congrats on the decision to get a tank! Bring it home, set it up where you want it, then make sure that you like the way it looks there and that it is definitely set up where you want it because it'll be awful hard to move once there's water in there! Then add your RO water and mix in the salt...
