What colors does it come it.. I have the purple.. but i have some green algae.. and some maroon algae.. Im starting to think the re is red slime.. it has some little hairs coming out of it.. but they are very fine hairs an white...

Ill add my 2 cents... 1. For RO/DI there are no really better things, they all do the same job. Personally i would spend more money on things that are rated better, but you can get low end ones for the tank. 2. Def need a skimmer but what size is what matters. You want one rated double for reefs...

Ya im bring buckets filled 3/4 of the way with SW... and I think ima just cross my fingers .. its 40 pounds in a 40 gallon tank.. but i think i might put 10 pounds in another 10 gallon im buying for S&G for 10 bucks... Dunno yet..

I just use the seachem reef additives.. i think calciums in there.. i hope.. but i think you just mix with water and put with water change.. limpitsreef on the tube have videos on how to... and look on the tube everythings on ther..

If i were to buy LR from some guy on CL.. Had live rock for a while... used to run business, runs business for maintaining tanks.. and this is the rock he uses for his tanks that he does... do i have to worry about keeping it in buckets or should i just put it in the tank...

Hey... Today i was looking at rock, and what i thought was maroon Coraline Algae now has th what lookslike red hairs coming out of it.. can anyone shed some light on this.. Check back tonight for new pics of rocks
