It's been so dry here that we decided to dig a 1500ft. trench from our waterwell to the pond to keep it full through this dang drought. Here's the trench I dug.

Sorry everyone been at work. Thanks for all the great comments! Seems to be turning around in a hurry. Hopefully it will start growing out some soon. My buddy had it under only 2x65w pc that where over a year old and in the last 3 months or so has shrank about 3". I couldn't believe my eyes...

and after two weeks thursday: It's lovin' the halides...

Looks to me like it is recovering well. Fed it about every other two days and eats like a champ, very sticky now, and hasn't moved once. Actually can see it's foot through the sand attached to the glass under the tank. Seems to be more inflated and thicker. Here's a pic. Before:
