that happened to mine a few days before they got ich.. happened to about 3 pairs of mine so i just decided to get a maroon clown and hes been healthy for a few months.. i dont know what causes the clowns to shut down either, :nope:

i suggest- clip ur finger nails the day before, start to try and wiggle ur finger underneath the base, once u have that just slooowly take him off the rock, this might take a while but if u do it right u wont hurt the anemone. u could probly also buy a powerful powerhead and aim it directly at it

a sudden temperature change might kill an anemone just like it does to fish, thats why u float the bag in the tank for a while..

ever thought of MOVING ur zoo's? anemone is better than little polyps imo! and dont use the toothpick.. also the rock that he is connected to is it small? maybe u can take the rock and him and put him on the other side of the tank

I was just wondering what the color of zooxanthenlae (sp?) is.. my rose tip anemone is getting a bright green color to his body and tentacles.. I have been feeding him krill. When I bought him he was bleached. So does that zooxanthenlae stuff have to be dark brown?
