Sorry, the usually say the only way to substain a healthy mandrian you need atleast 100lbs of live rock. They are beautiful fish but very hard to keep healthy. good luck with your tank. keep us posted!!!

Do you have him in a 30g??? do you have a lot of pods or is he eating something else??

i would have to suggest you don't purchse one for a 50g. I think that the tank couldn't sustain a big enough pod population for the mandrian. Do you have a lot of live rock??? Do you have pods??? Someone may say that you can but i think that a 50 g is to small to have a healthy mandrian. but...

What do you mean no light??? I had them grow fine and multiply under just 45w of lighting. I wouldn't recommended it. What lights do you have and what wattage???

Like what???? Does it smell like low tide??? It might be from the alage in your tank.

I know what you mean but when i need to get water and thats the only place open when i need it, i will get it. i knew when i said that i was gonna get crusified for even suggesting buying water from there. Thats life and i'm stickin to it!!!!

I agree as well. Stick with the three fish and the verts. what kind of lights are you running on your tank?? those brush plants need strong light to do well. well good luck and keep us posted!!!

I would diffently cut back the hours. the algae will come right back when your lights come back on for there normal period of time. do you have a clean up crew??

No way!!!! I mainly buy my ro/di water from my LFS but, they are only open Thur-Friday 6-9, Sat 10-8, Sun 12-6. So if i need to top off my water or due a water change i just buy that box of ***** water. it does the job for me!!!

Yeah it cost the same. I buy there water and thats it. i agree with everyone else don't buy anything else from *****. the water in my opion is fine. So just do what works for you!!!:D
