Does anyone know what i can do at this point to save the rest of my fish from getting ick or any other parasite??? Had my tang about a month and he has the most unique personality, he follows me when i feed from side to side and is always out and about..... :jumping: .....gets along great with the other fish, also just added an algae blenny yesterday.......

I just heard about a new treatment from a pharmacist called arithromiocin? its like a alkaseltzer tablet that drops in.....has anyone heard of this, its suppose to treat in one day and safe for all :thinking:

Trying to form some beneficial green algae and not having the best of luck, have some spots of dark dark green undersides of some rocks and a spot of very light green in one area but in terms of the tank as a whole havent had much luck...tank is up and running for 4 months (fully cycled) have...

I just got 2 cleaner shrimp and i dont know if the same as CBS but they like almost everything i feed the fish...(flakes, pellet, and brine/mysis) ....as long as they can get a morsal with the others goin for it..... :D

I have a power compact with about 250watts goin in a Fish only...(one small frag of zeus is doing great even with the snails knocking it off the rocks) but i have noticed in friends tanks that strip lights in fish only can be used and actually will generate more green algae than my power...

Yeah rick, your prob right but cant help the fact that tangs are my fav!!! And for who asked what light i am using, its funny but i am not using MH, but a Super power compact (2-12000k's-2 Actinic Blues) ..... :happyfish Update: Royal Gramma died this morning due to long battle with ick...

Most of my friends with tanks have tangs in relatively small tanks (blue hippo in a 30g) etc...and had them for years so i dont feel so bad even though most people say at least 55g....so far my naso is happy as can be with everyone else...... :happy:

By far the most hardiest tang in my experience is the Bonde Naso Tang....Very colorful and fun to watch and gets along with most other fish, being that my tank is fish only dont know about reef safe but am pretty sure it is.....Want to see a pic of my naso click First tank pics recently...

Just got a yellow watchman goby (drip aclimated him for like 45 min) and put him in , A day later he is actin real weird (perching perpendicular to heater, staying in one place not moving much, swimming weirdly, and not sifting through the sand like my 4 wheel drive goby whats up with him? :help:
