Had the same thing in my tank approx 2 months into now and added 2 (four wheel drive) gobies and 12 turbo snail (for the rocks) and just the 2 gobies alone cleared the sand right up, i was amazed, but its normal for that to happen in the early stages......i am on stage 2 now i think with some...

Trying to add a new tank mate but am having problems finding a hardy fish that will get along with my 3 stripes and gobies (now i know damsels are agressive but hear me out the 3 stripes i have are very calm at this stage) so whats a good hardy fish? :notsure:

I wish i had looked into this more than i did, but having a tank unused in the basement made me go crazy to start it up and get some fish in there......i must have lost about $50-$75 worth of fish due to inexperience and prob not the best conditions or what not.....but also to not doing research...

Yeah your prob right although i am all of a sudden seeing my yellow brown algae blooms turning green in some areas and am wondering if this is due to my recent calcium dose? Also whats a good calcium test? seen many but very expensive compared to the other testing supplies....... :help:
