    Transplanting Green Star Polyps

Over the past year, I have had a GSP colony (that Ibought from this site) go absolutely crazy with growth. It has covered three rocks and I have transplanted two other colonies. It grew up the back glass until it reached the surface...

    Fragging Shrooms

I have had good luck with cutting them above the base, leaving a bit of the foot to regrow into a full shroom. I have had poor luck with the veil method. The best luck I've had has been to poke the graft part into a hole or crack in the rock. Some folks have used super glue gel and claim to have...

    Can clown eggs be removed?

I have tried that, but they are not interested. Theis rock is huge. Not to mention I have muchrooms and stuff on it. Thanks anyhow. I am thinking of putting a 2 liter bottle over the m and trying to catch them that way. I think they will hatch tonight, I can see two eyes per fish now.

    Can clown eggs be removed?

Can I suction the eggs form the rock where they are attached, to put them in the nursery tank. Or would this surely kill them all?

    Green star mat

The picture is the very bottom of the mat. It spreads about 4" to the left of the "healthy " stuff. I am thinking about scraping it off the glass and attaching it to a rock...kinda like we do with mushrooms. Anyone tried this?

    Green star mat

I have been very lucky with my GSP's. Thay have proliferated and grown up the glass to the surface, not to mention everything I have placed in contact with the mat. I now have a giant colony and two smaller ones. One day, wifey suggested that they were behind the over flow box. After I scoffed...

    Banggai tail eaten off

It would appear that my banggai are losing their fins. One much more so than the other. They have mated in the past, and do not seem to be "injured"...just pruned. One has a nubby tail. Both are eating. What causes this...? I know "other fish biting them", but is there a stress related behavior...

    refinishing a rifle...

I'm not sure what kind of firearm will fit in a 5 gallon bucket with the lid on. Certainly a hand gun, or a sub gun, but no remington 700 that I have seen. MEK is a solvent that is used for fiberglass manufacturing, but I doubt its usefullness for stock stripping. I would avoid soaking the...

    refinishing a rifle...

Every one of those scratches has a story. "It was a snowy day on that big hill..." "Cousin (whomever) and I were doing (whatever)..." "It fell out of the truck on the day that we did ( thus and so)...." Of course, if it was no one that you had a "feeling " for, aand thiss is nothing but a bit of...

    refinishing a rifle...

Before you refinish it, take it to a gun shop and have them look at it. Amatur refinishing will significantly lessen resale value. But If you do a decent job, and don't have a particularly "collectible" piece, than no harm will be done. You can always sand it down and start over. I like to use...

    Turboflotor 1000 Question

They do float until full of water. I have had one for a few years, and am happy with it...but then again it is the only one I have owned, so I have nothing to compare it to.
