Anyone use a something else to replace those cheapo,plastic legs on the aqualight? I always manage to crack,chip or break one when working on my tank. Does anyone use the new adjustable set up for these lights? Im talking about the 11 dollar ones that flip your light up like a lid. Are they better?

Thanks!! The tank is a 55g w/aqualight pcs. My 55 looks always smaller to me than others I've seen online. Those mushrooms have always done great in my tank on their own. I do add phytoplex,marine snow and cyclopeze but not very often. Im glad they stop spreading for now. All they do now is open...

How did you stop the leak? Did you happen to change out the 2 filter pads at the same time? If you did maybe its a bacterial bloom. The bacteria just needs time to settle-in on the new pads. ...Just a thought.:thinking:

Got it!!:yes: Go to their site and look up item 61-2755 .Theyre 3 bucks a piece. ...... I dont think someones going to go bankrupt spending 9 bucks at radioshack. Make sure the cords, timers,and light plugs are all compatible.

I saw in a catalog somewhere what look like mini extension cords that you plug into the outlets on the powerstrip. Theyre for plugging multiple ,bulky plugs that normally couldnt fit side by side on the powerstrip. A set of those and 3 timers would work for you.I wouldnt know where online to...

YTs usually get that red blotch look when water parameters are off. Sometimes low PH is responsible.

I read that stray voltage,diet,and stress can contribute to it in Tangs. Ive also read that certain supplements can help. Has anyone here actually reversed HLLE in a Tang or in any of their fish?If so how and how long did it take see full results? What did you do/use?
