    Sea Snakes!!!!!!!

I still think you might want to rethink this...hell can you just bait a hook with some cut bait and hope he comes out. Or better yet...CALL ANIMAL CONTROL!!!!! And yes you may want to check legalities on removing live coral from the ocean....it is my understanding that all the reef is...

    Sea Snakes!!!!!!!

Yeah all the reading I am doing says that they don't bite humans unless they are in a threating situation....I think your situation would be considered a threating one....but it does say they most bites are lethal...

    Sea Snakes!!!!!!!

I have a great story...when we were snorkling in Maui at Ka'anapauli beach my husband got bit by a stars and stripes puffer on the thumb. We were feeding the fish as this is a big thing along the shore line there. The puffer was about 18 inches long and almost as big around...anyway he was...

    Sea Snakes!!!!!!!

Okay dragonfli, here is the thing....The crocodile hunter handles wild animals everyday on TV doesn't mean we should do it!!! But the other thing is if you call animal control can you get in trouble for these things? Can you get in legal trouble for having things out of the ocean? (and I mean...

    Grounding probe

Dogstar, this is going to sound dumber than the first question...lol Yes the screw is metal and our house is only 4 years old so I think all of the outlets are grounded...but not all of the outlets have a GFC switch. Does that mean they are not grounded? I know what the grounding cable looks...

    Tank Move Advice Needed (please??!!)

Hi Funkyman, It is my understanding that when you move a tank you will most likely distrub the overall balance of bacteria. I would think that the sand bed being shifted around and no circulation for such a period of time will cause some die off, causing a mini cycle if not a full cycle. Will...

    seahorse reef question

Bergamer, the angel will pick at seahorses fins. The seahorses would have to fight for food since they are not big hunters or fast eaters. If you plan to keep them they need to be in a species only tank. Contrary to some believe seahorses love to play in the current so they can handle low...

    BTA out of place!

thanks Dory, I love these anemones but right now I am not real fond of it. I will have to try and take a pic so everyone can see just how in the MIDDLE the BTA planted itself into my polyps. I was planning on fragging these polyps because there were so many of them but I think my BTA may...
