    generally, it's 1 inch of fish per 5 gallons of water.. but looking at your fishes, seems ok... the dwarf lionfish is awesome.. wish i could get it, not compatable with my other fishes though.. good luck..

    dead in 1-2 hours? they must've been close to dead by the time you got it then.. they're usually pretty hardy as long as you acclimate them right.

    with sand, just make sure you don't get too small a particle size.. or else you got sand flying all over your tank when fish swim close to it.

    each one got ich, one by one.. treatment didn't help. i used greenex... oh well. friend has his for close to half a year? but not without die off as well. not very picky eaters though. haven't been able to pinpoint why they died... they were small though..

    the intensity of the light is not as strong as flourescent.. they use more power.. they're hotter... just the intensity part alone made me switch back.. got a 50/50 bulb in there now. and they cost a lot too.. 10 bucks a piece..
