ok so i got the frame work done and here are some pics. i also have a pic of the overflow to which i want to make a diy live rock that will slip right over it to hide it.

ok here are some pics! i started the one of many circles to come for the frame but here it is hope u all like. the next thing to come is to make the live rock for the overflow being it needs to cure for three months or until ph is stable. Just waiting on a guy at work to bring me some portland...

ok got some 2x4s today and thinking the design of the stand is going to change a little but thinking its going to be safer in the long run. i will keep u posted.

well i am never happen it seems like so with wood it would be easier to make changes than it would to tear down tank just to stand back to work and weld again.

well i am a welder and i work at a steel factory... aint that funny! the key with steel is its strong but costly. it would take alot more time to weld the frame up and if i wanted to change something i would have to tear down the tank just to do so. plus take the frame back to work and so on. so...

my 150 stand is made out of 4x4s but it has a 75 gallon show rugium under it that shows the whole 75 besides the sides and back. i will make a frame design that i have been think of and show u all.

well what i am trying to do is make room for a sump but yet still wanting the support that it would take to hold the tank. but another factor i have is leg room. my other plan is for a circle cylinder shape stand and that would give me room for the sump and the support i would need but no leg...

ok so i have torn apart the the stand from the tank but there was no saving it.....lol, but the tank is in great shape. so i guess i got two external pumps that work out of it and a uv sterilizer. cant beat it for free. the pumps are no less than 1100 gph pumps and the uv is rated for 200...

ok my reefer friend. i just today came across a 135 gallon round lobster tank for free. i hope u all have seen one before. the round tanks that stores use to keep live lobster in. it came with almost everything besides the cooling system but who needs that anyways...i will need the water about...

i guess i want Helfrich's Firefish in my nano. just bc i could be able to see them more ofter than in my 150. but being so much money and being so small of a tank i would hate to loss them. and smaller tanks can go bad fast.

whats funny is i have a bubble coral and a scolymia higher in my tank than what i do some sps and even my lps are doing fine like the lighting is just right. i guess why mess with whats happy?
