As stated, my duncans love mysis. Mysis are an appropriate size for the average duncanopsammia polyp. Stay away from the large meaty chunks of fish as they will tend to stress the coral out trying to digest it.

Thats an acan lordhowensis. Its normal for them to do that once in awhile. I wouldn't worry too much. Nice coloration, BTW. :)

If you are talking that the flesh has bailed out of its skeleton, there really isn't anything you can do. Polyp bailout in acans seems generally caused by low magnesium levels.

They multiply pretty rapidly. Can become an infestation/nuisance before you know it. I'd pull it. But I have a reef, not FOWLR. ;)

Nice duncans. What I have found is that if they are in lower flow, the new heads will bunch up with the old ones, kind of like a flower bouquet. In more moderately high flow, they will branch more as the new heads form. Thats at least what I've experienced with the 2 clusters I have in my tank.
