Actually they are pretty hard. I think they add a nice look and I am happy with the Blue.

Meowzer, I couldn't stand it any longer. Saw that Red / Orange one you got and well that did it. He he / she is acclimating now.

I think for that size tank you will be fine for ZOAS. I put my zoas in medium to low flow. They seem to open more in that type of flow.

I run T-5s because I want to. If I had room I would probably run all T12s. Heat, electricity and all. The shimmer is pretty for the MH though.

Ok so I think I have been running about a week and here is the question. I have some nice color on the screen but nothing that I think needs to be cleaned off at this time. So do I clean it anyway? I would assume that I want to get a thick cover on it prior to cleaning the first time?

Flower, you made me laugh and I thank you. If anyone wants a free coral they can drive over in the next week or so because my big ole Monti cap is going to have to get broken down. It hurts me that I dont have anyone to give this to and it may end up in the garbage. The LFS doesnt even want it.

Well what corals do you have? How much T-5 lighting do you have. With proper placement and enough bulbs you can keep just about anything under T-5s. I have T-5s in my 90.

Here is the nice thing about this forum. You get answers mostly from people who don't "always" have the answer. The other big site always had an "expert" ready to tell you what exactly you needed to do. I don't know about you but an answer with a "this is what I did" or "read this and try that"...
