I've just noticed that I have some sediment sitting on the top of the water. I don't believe that it is a flow issue, but it hasn't always been this way...used to be crystal clear. I've recently pointed the head of one of my PHs more towards the bottom of the tank to help with the detritus...

I set up a tank, not pre-drilled and am using an overflow box into the sump and have had no issues. I know some people don't like overflow boxes, but my tank seems to be doing pretty well so far.

I've read that too, but I've also read that a fluctuation of more then .2 over the course of a 24 hour period is too much. I just want to be sure that there is nothing to worry about, or if there is something I should do to try to correct it. Thanks
