is this wat i should do

It is my understanding that water changes or a DSB will remove nitrates, but what removes phosphates? I hope this isn't highjacking, I thought it was on the subject. If this is indeed highjacking, please let me know and I will delete this reply and flog myself an appropriate amount when time...

    how?

Oh, you could get some Astrea snails or a Lawnmower blennie, which will help. I was kidding about the bleach earlier, I figured you knew that, but you just never know what people are gonna do.

    how?

I got one of those floating magnet cleaner things which works pretty well. I thought of maybe trying chlorine bleach, but I was afraid the fishies would get mad at me. :D

    aqua c remora question

I got my remora about a month ago, it took about 2 weeks to get it broken in. At first it made more noise and made a ton of tiny bubbles in my tank, which drove me completely nuts. After a month, the bubbles are gone and I don't notice any noise. I wouldn't mess with the injector. Just give it a...

    Interview Advice, please! (Graphics)

I would suggest an email thanking them for their time and if there was something in particular you really liked about the environment/company, mention it. I have found being appreciative goes a long way.

    aqua c remora question

I have one and it took a few days to produce anything at all. Mine is relatively quiet, I got the maxijet 1200, I don't know how loud the other pump is. Do you have the pump wedged up against the glass? That could cause some vibration noise. Overall I am very happy, I think you will be too.

    More skimmer questions

I recieved my Remora and I was wondering how long it takes to "break in" I was also wondering how level it needs to be to work, and is it fromt to back and right to left or just front to back? It is creating a whole lot of small bubbles, but I hear that is normal.

    Skimmer question

I just got my Remora and it recommends rinsing it with warm water, since I don't have a ready supply of warm saltwater, will it hurt to rinse in warm tap?

    Salt to water formula

Hey marine aquarist type people,, When I do my water change, I feel like I am sorta guessing to get a certain specific gravity. Is there a formula to get a certain specific gravity? Does it change from salt to salt? That sounds kinda stupid, but gimme a break, I'm new

    My Clown Gets around

Wait , I said I don't think it will be a problem. That doesn't mean I am right, in fact I am often wrong. Listen to Viper before me.....I just got into the marine aquarium scene and I am still in the phase where I buy impulsively and make egregious errors. I expect it will be some time before I...

    My Clown Gets around

It should only be a problem if they are in close vicinity where stinging each-other is a danger. as it is they are a good distance apart and neither has moved, so I don't think it will be a problem.
