Guys I throw out about 5 handfulls every week. After I shake it in my display to get the pods out. I would give you some but how do we go about doing it?

Does anyone have any experience with these bulbs. I am thinking about getting their 250W 10K+ (14K look). How about acclimating my tank to the new lights, just run them for a shorter time period for a few days like 4hrs instead of 8hrs? Any help would be appreciated.

The blasto's look bad, I believe they would look better in my tank! Just forward them along and I'll take good care of them for you, and when they are healthy I will frag you a piece!! LOL

Hard to tell from the pics but it looks just like the nudi I had that ate my wifes leather coral. Google under Nudibranch Tritoniidea. Says they like to eat soft corals. I flushed mine and the leather is making a comeback.

KTSDAD, put them in a high flow area. Mine love getting brisk current and spread like crazy.

Tronics, here is my bristle worm eatting machine Radiant Wrasse, peaceful and pretty too. He eats all the small ones he finds.

Anyone with experience calibrating one of these please respond. When calibrating do you use the temp corection table on the back of the 4.00 and 7.00 solution. The temp in my house is 68* and the label says it is 4.00 and 7.00 at 75*. Should I recalibrate using the correction table to 68*...

Mud I don't think it is the same thing. I think HQI has to do with the ballast and DE is just for double ended. But I am not sure. Sorry I know that was not a lot of help.

Sorry mud I am not familiar with those lights. I don't think the xenia will be as affected by the light change as SPS will be. Move em up if you can if their growth slows.
