i was looking at a ro/di unit on the popular bidding site. It appears some don't come with the holding tanks for the water. Do some of them not need it or is it just a add on that u need to buy?

that was it....must have gotten eaten by the way meowzer we were discussing skimmers and now that aqua c sent me something to restrict the flow from the max-jet 1200 my skimmer is working beautifully... no bubbles. It must have been to much power.

I just searched them and 18 bucks does seem $$, they say they take a long time to reach that size...i am trying to get a fighting conch but no one has any!!

I wash at the LFS and they have a Queen Conch $18.99 snail is this the same a a fighting conch? If not anyone ever heard of it. I searched this site and didn't find anything.

it just seems that my sand is always dirty. I want nice clean white sand and mine seems to turn black a few days after a water change. I know people say dont mix up the sand but i do vacuum it lightly. I just did a water change a2 days ago and it is coming back. Maybe i need to change filter...

Orignially i had 2 clowns that i bought together and one somehow jumped out of tank...but then the angel and remaning clown were always together until i got the other clown and they became buddies....that was 2 months ago...but also noticed then about a month after i added new clown that old...

so you get a QT tank then put new fish in. How long do you keep fish in there and how do you determine it is safe to add fish to tank? It seems to me it would stress the fish even more. that potentially could be 3 or 4 new homes for the fish.

Well i got a tds meter and checked my distilled water i distill..1ppm not bad. For the heck of it checked the water i drink that is attached to sink and filtered 154ppm and the regular tap water was 158ppm. So since i am sick of having my distiller running everyday for top off and water...
