    Stone Crabs

My friend lost nearly all of his motile inverts to a stone crab no bigger than a nickle. Those things are aquarium al qaida. Toss it with a vengance. If you want stone crabs go to joe's. Do not try to grow your own.

    ID Please????

take a glass and put some food in the bottom, then lean it up agianst the rock the crab lives in. The crab will go into the glass to get the food but won't be able to climb up the sides to get out. I used the same method to catch a stone crab in a friend's tank once. He fell for it the first...

    what fish for a 29

my 29 reef is just gettin going, so far its got a potter's angel, which i'm real nervous about keeping, even though i've had great luck with pygmy angels in reefs. I think a cleaner wrasse could be next, and a perc to finish it off. But i guess it depends on what catches my eye at the LFS

Tenting house for termites! What about my reef!

yikes! that sucks... not that i have any experience whatsoever, but just a thought, you might want to consider doing something along the lines of putting an airstone in there for a few days to get the O2 up, then right before the tent, take out the airstone (don't want it pumping toxic air into...

Fish, Corals, and Critters MUST GO!

I know this is going to hurt me, but i don't have a digi cam. I've been keeping reefs for 5+ years and know what i'm doing. My tank is a 55 gal with 220 watts of VHO lighting. I haven't had a parasite in over a year and have never had a detrimental hitchhiker, so no worries about that. All...
