Good looking tank!! And super videos. Where on the tank do you have you powerheads mounted? Looks like on the rim. Also do you leave them on 24/7 or do they cycle on and off?
They are going into a 135 with a Purple Tang, Hippo Tang, 6 Line Wrasse, Bangi Cardinal, Fire Golby, and a Coral Beauty Angel. I have had bad luck in the past with adding to many to fast but usually was with bigger fish than the anthias.
I am looking at adding a school of 7 to 9 Lyretail Anthias. My question is how many should i add at a time? And do you start with the females and then add the male last?
a couple of hours after i took this picture i saw the clown in the bottom of the colt and my foxface rabbitfish sitting in the top, just waving in the current. i want to get the camera and when i got back they both were gone. looked cool though
I tested mine tonight to a 3.5mEq/l. The direction with my test kit are very hard for me to follow and I couldn't find my water chemistry book. Thanks for everyone help.
I have had red mushrooms, zoe's, xenia's, and a torch for as long as I have had the brain. I also have star polyps, hammer, a toadstool leather, and a hairy mushroom. I just added a colt, elephant ear and some kenia trees.
I have had a Green Open Brain for over a year now. This past week it has stopped opening up during the day and has become very hard. I was wondering what the life span is for a brain or do I need to look at other factors?
I was going to use a 10 gallon tank for my top off tank but it won't fit in my stand with the way my plumbing is run. So I was wondering what some of you DIYers have used for top off tanks.
